Waikiki Beach Tourist Information and Vacation Guide
Kuhio Beach is the sheltered beach located beneath Kuhio Beach Park. It is a safe beach for young children and adults that don't swim or are bothered by ocean waves.
The beach is sheltered by the Waikiki Pier (also called the "Kapahulu Groin") and a sea wall. Visitors can enjoy a great view of the beach from the end of the pier.
The ocean on the far side of the sea wall is normally quite rough and is consequently a popular location for body boarding.
Kuhio beach is situated between Central Waikiki Beach (to the west) and Queen's Surf Beach (to the east)
